Alana and Alyssa
The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring on the screens of small sizes. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. In no time she left Ohio to move to Texas to pursue her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas prior to moving to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played a range of roles from local independent films to global commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering she enjoyed acting. Then she moved from New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. During the early part of the 2000s, she appeared in small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her debut series role on The Mountain The Mountain, a short-lived television drama. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. The character of De La Garza was recognized with several nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. The year 2008 was the time she was awarded an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performance on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko and was also the the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most current TV work was in NBC's dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The show was canceled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. She was raised in the strictest and most religious family. Milano's career began at age seven as her babysitter took her to an audition. Her audition was among over 1000 applicants. Her audition was considered one of only four girls. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway, including the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
